The Estate
The walled estate consists of château le Pavillon, an old restored farm house with 5 holiday houses, a park, meadow and forest with a total surface of 4 hectare.
Le Pavillon lies in the center of the park. The interior has been renovated in the original style. It is richly decorated with fireplaces and wooden/copper/crystal chandeliers, and has many period features such as panel doors, parquet, wooden ceilings and silk wallpaper. Le Pavillon not only has a terrace with comfortable garden furniture, sun beds, umbrella and BBQ, but also a veranda with extra side tables and chairs and beautiful views overlooking the park. At the first floor you will find a large balcony. All bedrooms are furnished with comfortable and modern beds.
The 5 gîtes are situated in an old restored farm house around a horse-shoe shaped courtyard. The interior is stylish and well equipped, and the bedrooms are furnished with comfortable modern beds. In the same building you'll find a recreation room and a laundry room with 2 washing machines and 2 tumble dryers.
Much attention is paid to the setting of the Pavillon and the gîtes and their terraces to create as much privacy as possible for each guest. All terraces are decorated with tasteful and comfortable garden furniture, sun beds, an umbrella and a big BBQ. Priority is also safety for you and your children. There is a wall around the entire estate, and both the pond and the swimming pools are fenced.
In our park you will find an impressive variety of special trees like Sequoias, a huge Tulip tree and centuries old Lime-trees. The estate has a heated and fenced swimming pool (12 m x 6 m) with a Roman staircase, and a heated paddling pool (6 m x 4 m). Lying on the sun beds around the pool, you experience a great view overlooking the park. The pools are open from Easter weekend (half of April) until mid/end of October. You will find a playground with football goals, a swing, trampoline, and a climbing frame. At other locations in the park we have a tree house, children’s bikes, tricycles and a go-kart. Twice a week we organize pony rides in the park for all the children.
