Le Pavillon de St. Agnan lies hidden in a monumental park on the edge of the village of St. Agnan, a small village in the Dordogne on the border between the Périgord Vert and the Périgord Blanc. It lies in a widely varied landscape of undulating meadows, small rivers and lakes, against a backdrop of charming hamlets. The region is famous for its rich nature and history as well as for its fine cuisine.

The impressive former residence and service buildings of Baron de Hautefort are nowadays used as a holiday destination of not only the peace and quiet seeking and cultural minded holiday maker, but also serves families who are looking for a small-scale and child friendly holiday accommodation. In the park are 5 gîtes and a little château. The estate has a heated and fenced swimming pool (12 m x 6 m) with a Roman staircase, and a heated paddling pool (6 m x 4 m). Lying on the sun beds around the pool, you experience a great view overlooking the park. The pools are open from the end of April until the end of October.

The gîtes are situated in an old restored farm house around a horse-shoe shaped courtyard. The interior is stylish and well equipped, and the bedrooms are furnished with comfortable modern beds. Much attention is paid to the setting of the gîtes and their terraces to create as much privacy as possible for each guest. The terraces are decorated with tasteful and comfortable garden furniture, sun beds, an umbrella and a big BBQ.

Le Pavillon lies in the center of the park. The interior has been renovated in the original style. It is richly decorated with fireplaces and wooden/copper/crystal chandeliers, and has many period features such as panel doors, parquet, wooden ceilings and silk wallpaper. Le Pavillon not only has a terrace with comfortable garden furniture, sun beds, umbrella and BBQ, but also a veranda with extra side tables and chairs and beautiful views overlooking the park. At the first floor you will find a large balcony. All bedrooms are furnished with comfortable and modern beds.
